Please read and spread the word around. I got to work with some great cosplayers, photographers and fans and I really hope to continue this project if it gains enough support.
Thank you for looking!*Stands and applauds*
This is definitely a movement we can get behind. :)
A sneak peek of what’s in store for you if you come to one of our spring tour shows. A lot of folks are guessing Lesbian Pirates From Outer Space, but it’s more of an homage to Power Rangers/Sailor Moon/Peelander-Z. Magical girls and giant monsters. All this plus sexy cops, a dance with a cow, puppet blowjobs, and Jesus.
AUGH WHEN/HOW WILL WE GET TO WORK WITH THESE GUYS
My birthday’s almost here, and you’re invited! Bring your sassy self down to Lee’s Palace on Thursday, March 28th and shake your tail along with me and the ladies of Nerd Girl Burlesque, as well as our good friends Ginger Rigby and Lucky Fremont. We’ll have some fantastic live bands helping to keep everyone moving.
First off, Toronto’s sexiest English handbell ensemble, Pavlov’s Dogs will whet your appetite with covers of your favourite pop and rock tunes like you’ve never heard them before.
Next up will be the Cocksure Lads. You’ll recognize Reg Topping and Dusty Fosterboard (aka Mike Ford and Murray Foster) from iconic Canadian folk bands Moxy Früvous and Great Big Sea, but tonight they’ll be channeling the spirit of the sixties from across the pond with British Invasion-style pop tunes that will have you feeling Ticky-Boo and craving bangers & mash.
And then to kick the party up a notch we’ll be joined by High Heels Lo Fi. Imagine if Joan Jett was kicked out of the Ramones’ Rock n’ Roll High School for being drunk and acting like the class clown - a madcap cocktail of rock, booze, and hilarity. Want to hear brilliant rock music? Go see AC/DC. Want to be bullied into singin’ along, drinkin’, dancin’ and laughin’ yer arse off with your friends? Come see High Heels Lo Fi.
Don’t let our burlesque dancers hog all the fun! Come and keep that dance floor moving, and see if Bella can still pronounce everyone’s name by the end of the night! A party like this only comes along once a year! Get yer tickets online at BrownPaperTickets, or in person at the Silver Snail. More info on our Facebook page.

Our very own Bella Fox has almost completed yet another lap around the sun, and you know what that means: It’s time to watch her get trashed while she makes her friends dance for you! This year’s a big birthday, and the party is going to be bigger than ever.
Featuring burlesque performances by: Ginger Rigby, Lucky Fremont, and The Lovely Ladies of Nerd Girl Burlesque: Delicia Pastiche, Kenickie Street, Loretta Jean, Ruby Pixel and of course the birthday girl, BELLA FOX!
Nerd Girl Burlesque will be performing some of our usual nerdy repertoire, in addition to new acts accompanied by live music that will have you up out of your seat, making sure that the folks onstage don’t hog all the fun: The Cocksure Lads, High Heels Lo Fi, and Pavlov’s Dogs Handbell Ensemble.
Hope to see you there! ♥
So tonight I witnessed a Sherlock/Irene burlesque act performed by two women,
MY LIFE IS COMPLETE.
Here’s me as Sherlock and Delicia Pastiche as Irene in the above-described burlesque act. This particular picture is from the performance at Futurecon at New Years, as I don’t have pics from the Ottawa show yet. I love this act.

The Best Ass East of the Don River, Miss Bella Fox as Nightmare Moon from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
P.S. She made this fantanstic corset and is having a huge sale on her custom corsetry services, because there was a fire at her day job. (Read more here).
Bella was trained in corset making by Christina Mangue. Mark our words, Bella Fox is extremely talented and going lots of places. Don’t miss the opportunity to own a Bella Fox original. ♥
